5 ways Matcha Green Tea can improve your hair + skin

Green tea is beloved for its soothing and healing effects on the body.  Green Tea is also wonderful for the hair + skin.  Here, we've outline 5 ways Matcha Green Tea can improve your hair + skin and give it life!

1. Stimulates Hair Growth

Studies have shown that pure Matcha Green Tea can stimulate hair growth. Matcha contains epigallocatechin-3-gallat, or EGCG, present in green tea promotes growth of hair follicles and stimulates the human dermal papilla cells to boost hair production.

Also, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, green tea can increase your metabolism, which can also increase your hair growth rate. Can you say WINNING!

2. Reduces puffy eyes, wrinkles + dark circles

Wrinkles, dark circles and fine lines are a thing of the past.  Matcha Green Tea contains anti-oxidants, which protect the skin by limiting the production of free radicals, which can damage skin cells. This helps reverse the signs of aging and produces radiant, glowing skin.

3. Improves skin complexion

Dark spots, uneven skin tone, blemishes got you down? Perk up because Matcha Green Tea can help remove even your skin tone and improve your complexion.  Matcha Green Tea, is one of the most effective treatments for hyperpigmentation.

4. Prevents Acne

Remember those antioxidants we talked about? They are a major player in preventing acne flare ups. Antioxidants in green tea are 25 to 100 times more powerful than vitamin C. Drinking green tea or applying green tea extracts topically can reduce inflammation and bacteria known to cause acne.

5. Hydrates, Hydrates, Hydrates

If you suffer from dry, dull skin, Matcha's got your back.  Spritz a pure Matcha green tea and water mist onto your face to keep your skin plump and supple and add an all day long glow!

There is no end to skin care benefits of green tea. It worked for me after trying many other methods to removing my acne. Within a few days of just applying on my acne, it had already shrunk and fall off. Thanks for sharing wonderful blog with us.
